Sleep. When a believer in JESUS' PRECIOUS AND TRIUMPHANT DEATH {MATTHEW 27} AND RESURRECTION {MATTHEW 28} leaves this earth in death, our death is called sleep {MATTHEW 9:24}.
He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. - MATTHEW 9:24
Let's faith it. We will all leave this earth one day or another. However we will not all sleep in death, for JESUS IS Soon to Return, but only the Father knows when {MATTHEW 24:36}.

Because of this TRUTH, we need to live lives in wisdom, knowing that our Salvation is nearer than we first believed {ROMANS 13:11}. Yes, JESUS IS Soon to Return, as with the Ole' Spiritual "I pray we'll all be ready.....".
And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. - ROMANS 13:11
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", let's ensure that we are living lives worthy of our calling of JESUS Christ {EPHESIANS 4:1} to be SAVED. The time is short, and one day we must give an account {ROMANS 14:12} to THE ONE WHO WILLINGLY GAVE HIS LIFE For us.
HE SO LOVINGLY COUNTED us worthy of ETERNAL REDEMPTION, and HE DELIGHTS in nothing more than for us to live with HIM forever, with an imperishable body like HIS, thus Beholding HIS GLORY Both now and forever. In JESUS' NAME {MARK 16:15}. Amen. "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
