For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. - JOHN 3:16-17

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. + 2 PETER 3:18

"Five Smooth Stones"
Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine. - 1 SAMUEL 17:40 - HOLY BIBLE - New International Version
12Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD,
Praise JESUS!!!!!
I Lift Up My Eyes to the Hills
1I lift up my eyes to the hills.
2My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to slip;
your Protector will not slumber.
4Behold, the Protector of Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your keeper;
the LORD is the shade on your right hand.
6The sun will not strike you by day,
7The LORD will guard you from all evil;
8The LORD will watch over your coming and going,
both now and forevermore. + PSALM 121 - HOLY BIBLE - BEREAN STANDARD BIBLE
O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth. 2Rise up, O Judge of the earth; 3How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult? 4They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast. 5They crush Your people, O LORD; 6They kill the widow and the foreigner; 7They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.” 8Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise? 9He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see? 10He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge? 11The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.a 12Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, 13to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked. 14For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage. 15Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. 16Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity? 17Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. 18If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me. 19When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul. 20Can a corrupt throne be Your ally— one devising mischief by decree? 21They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.b 22But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge. 23He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them. + PSALM 94 - HOLY BIBLE - BEREAN STANDARD B |
Come Quickly to Help Me, O Lord
(Psalm 141:1-10; Jeremiah 11:18-23; Jeremiah 18:18-23)
1{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying. + PSALM 70 - HOLY BIBLE - KING JAMES VERSION
For the choirmaster. Of David. To bring remembrance.
1Make haste, O God, to deliver me!
2May those who seek my life
be ashamed and confounded;
may those who wish me harm
3May those who say, “Aha, aha!”
retreat because of their shame.
4May all who seek You
rejoice and be glad in You;
may those who love Your salvation always say,
5But I am poor and needy;
hurry to me, O God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
O LORD, do not delay. + PSALM 70 + HOLY BIBLE - BEREAN STANDARD BIBLE
1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
5I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
No Greater Love
9As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. 10If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. 17This is My command to you: Love one another.
The Hatred of the World
18If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. 19If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’a If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well. 21But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’b
26When the Advocatec comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me. 27And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning. + JOHN 15 - HOLY BIBLE - BEREAN STANDARD BIBLE

the Gospel OF Our LORD JESUS {2 THESSALONIANS 1:8}, 10But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”{LUKE 2:10-15}.
