Praise JESUS!!!!! Over the years, if we were honest, we've all let some form of pride into our lives. This ungodly pride is not healthy for the sinner or the Saint to possess.
And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people; + GENESIS 28:3 - KING JAMES VERSION
Let us faith it. When we are self-confident because of some Gifting our PRECIOUS LORD AND GOD JESUS {JOHN 20:28} HAS ENDOWED UP[ON Us, this can lead to sinful pride, simply because we're not giving the CREDIT to WHOM IT IS DUE, JESUS ALMIGHTY {GENESIS 28:3}.
In today's JESUS HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE TEXT, we see that sinful pride, and a haughty spirit comes before a fall. If we're not careful to guard our hearts with all diligence, we will succumb to one of the most grievous sins, sinful pride.
Don't get me wrong. Some HOLY BIBLE TRANSLATIONS have the "good-kind" or "GOD-KIND" of Pride. This Pride is not to be misconstrued with sinful pride, whereby one thinks himself to be better than another. No, to the contrary, this JESUS-Glorifying Pride enables us to excel in all of our endeavors, whereby by doing so, we will Bring Glory and Honor to JESUS ALMIGHTY {GENESIS 35:11}.
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", let's remind ourselves daily even "secondly" that arrogance, or the wrong kind of pride, always comes before a fall. If we desire to remain faithful and trustworthy in all things, let us continually Seek ALMIGHTY JESUS IN Everything, Relying on HIM and HIS MERCY-LADED-HELP per every situation. This HELP, in the face of adversity, Belongs to us, because we believe IN Our LORD JESUS' DEATH {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTION {JOHN 20:1-17, 28-31}.
And that, my Faith-filled friend, is the Gospel {MATTHEW 4:23 - NEW KING JAMES VERSION} OF Our LORD JESUS CHRIST {ACTS 15:26}, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD NEWS {LUKE 2:10}.
