Praise JESUS!!!!! When we heard the WORD OF GOD {ACTS 6:7}, AND WERE DRAWN TO THE LORD JESUS, BY THE LOVE AND GRACE OF ALMIGHTY JESUS Our HEAVENLY FATHER {MATTHEW 18:35}, Our HEAVENLY FATHER {1 PETER 1:17} ALLOWED you to "declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. {ROMANS 10:9 - HOLY BIBLE - NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION}.
Let's faith it. This born again experience we encountered, can be seen as when a caterpillar finds a safe spot on A BRANCH OR TREE LIMB AND CREATES A COCOON, LEAVING THE COCOON TOTALLY anew as a butterfly. When JESUS our HEAVENLY FATHER DREW Us Unto HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, Our LORD JESUS {JOHN 6:44}, our Acceptance of HIM, By the BELIEF OF HIS DEATH {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTION {JOHN 20:1-17, 28-31} Became THE IMPETUS to our being that caterpillar turning into a butterfly; for we are born again {JOHN 3:3, 7, 1 PETER 1:23}.
When the Ruling Member of the Jewish Council, Nicodemus came to JESUS by night {JOHN 3:1-2 - HOLY BIBLE - NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION}, he came because he desired to learn more about JESUS, HIS MINISTRY, and where HE CAME FROM. He came with a sincere heart having questions, but knowing that JESUS (GOD THE FATHER'S NAME IS ALSO JESUS - JOHN 17:11 - HOLY BIBLE - AMPLIFIED VERSION) , Our HEAVENLY FATHER, MUST BE WITH JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, in his saying, "Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. {JOHN 3:2 - HOLY BIBLE - KING JAMES VERSION}".
When we further study our BIBLICAL TEXT, we see that the Beloved Apostle Paul wrote, BY THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY GHOST, that
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. {2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 - HOLY BIBLE - KING JAMES VERSION}.
By our understanding that Our BLESSED REDEMPTION JESUS DESIRES our putting our sinful past behind, as HE STATED to a man desiring to Follow HIM, but wanting to go back first to bury his father, JESUS TOLD him, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father {LUKE 9:59 - HOLY BIBLE - KING JAMES VERSION}.” Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God {LUKE 9:60 - HOLY BIBLE - KING JAMES VERSION}.
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", let's not dwell on our past sins and mistakes, as we have come unto a BORN AGAIN RELATIONSHIP With Our LORD JESUS. Let's remember that the old is gone the new is here. The past is the past. Yesterday ended at 11:59pm last night! This is a new day, a GRACE DAY!!!!!
Though we don't deserve all the GRACE that we've received, we can be GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL that Our LORD DIED ON CALVARY'S CROSS {MARK 15}, RESURRECTING THE THIRD DAY {LUKE 24:34, 46}, GUARANTEEING A NEW BEGINNING For all of us who believe IN Our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS' {2 PETER 1:11} MESSAGE OF LOVE, FOUND ONLY IN THE ONLY HOLY BOOK Our HOLY BIBLE. IN JESUS' NAME {MATTHEW 18:5}. And that, my Faith-filled friend, is the Gospel {MATTHEW 4:23 - HOLY BIBLE - NEW KING JAMES VERSION} OF Our LORD JESUS CHRIST {ACTS 15:26}, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD NEWS {LUKE 2:10}.
IN JESUS' NAME {JOHN 14:14}. Amen. "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
