"Be careful..."
Praise JESUS. While in a Nursing Facility, I heard, BY THE GRACE OF JESUS {PHILEMON 1:25}, THESE TWO WORDS "BE CAREFUL." I believe and know {1 JOHN 5:16} that JESUS WANTED me to be Circumspect {EXODUS 23:13}, alert, and to watch my surroundings in order that I would not be overcome by temptations.
Let's faith it. JESUS WARNED Us that temptations will always be {LUKE 17:1}. HE INSTRUCTED Us "...offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! {MATTHEW 18:17}." JESUS ALSO TAUGHT Us, That, If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea {MARK 9:42}."
My, "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", no matter our age or pedigree, or how long we have been CHRISTians, none of us are immune from trials and temptations {JAMES 1:2, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION, KING JAMES VERSION}. Even JESUS HIMSELF was tempted in all points such as we yet without sin.
Although Our LORD JESUS IS THE ONLY PERFECT MAN, WHO IS 100%GOD AND 100%MAN, HE STILL MORE THAN any of us knows how it feels to be tempted. However, HE DIDN'T YIELD to the tempter or his temptations, and because of THIS, HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD {JOHN 16:33}.
And with THAT STATEMENT OF TRUTH, so can you. Amen. IN JESUS' NAME {MARK 16:17}. AMEN. "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}." "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. {24} My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. {1 COnRINTHIANS 16:23-24}"
