Praise JESUS!!!!! If any of you have been following these JESUS-GLORIFYING Post's for quite some time, you would have noticed that before We end any blog post, we quote Today's HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE VERSE, Found in 1 JOHN 5:21 - "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}."
Let's faith it. Our LORD JESUS IS A JEALOUS GOD {EXODUS 20:5}. HE DESIRES Us for HIMSELF ALONE, and a stranger we will not follow {JOHN 10:}. When we put other things ahead of our relationship with JESUS, we are saying that we trust ourselves, others and other things over HIM, and HIS ABUNDANT LOVE, WISDOM, SOVEREIGNTY, AND GRACE.
Even, as Our LORD JESUS {MATTHEW 4:7} WAS PREPARING me to Write this Blog, HE GAVE me a Thought, that, when I prefer one Preacher over another, who I believe is Teaching the WORD OF TRUTH, I'm actually idolizing that person, instead of LETTING JESUS SPEAK to me through any Minister of the Gospel of JESUS.
Furthermore, when we put other things first before Almighty JESUS, even our loved ones, this can be a form of idolatry, for Our LORD JESUS Preached {LUKE 4:43} "Those who come to me cannot be my disciples unless they love me more than they love father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and themselves as well. {LUKE 14:26 - HOLY BIBLE - GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION}".
Wherefore, if we put the feelings and concerns of others, with regards to our lives and manner of living, above THE WILL OF Our GRACIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER, AND Our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS, {TITUS 1:4} we are saying, in effect, that those persons of human descent's feelings and concerns are more valuable than the FEELINGS AND CONCERNS OF Our HEAVENLY FATHER {MATTHEW 6:14}, AND Our EVERLASTING FATHER {ISAIAH 9:6}, THE LORD JESUS {2 THESSALONIANS 1:12}.
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", when it comes to Our Relationship with Our LORD AND GOD JESUS {JOHN 20:28}, it does us good to acknowledge our weaknesses and frailties, asking HIM are there any areas in our lives that are unknowingly presenting themselves as idols in our lives.
Friend, I believe in doing this, we are moving out of the center of our lives anything that will interfere with A Loving, Bold, and Lasting Relationship With Our HEAVENLY FATHER {LUKE 11:13} THROUGH HIS ONE AND ONLY SON {JOHN 3:16-17}, THE LORD JESUS {ACTS 9:17}.
In our having Accomplished this With THE AID OF JESUS, we can now see a clear path unto which we tread and others beholding our chaste conversation {1 PETER 3:2} will notice as well, that we are indeed the Children of THE MOST HIGH GOD, THE LORD JESUS.
Because of this, they, along with ourselves, shall see THE GLORY OF GOD {PROVERBS 25:2}, as we are Led and Guided BY THE LORD JESUS' HOLY SPIRIT, and where THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS LIBERTY {2 PETER 3:17}.
This JESUS-COMMANDING Liberty, sets us free, ready and able to Worship THE LORD JESUS {HEBREWS 1:6}, Ensuring, that, our Worshipping JESUS, IS Along with HIM, THE CENTER OF Our lives, FOR HE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE CENTER OF Our Hearts.
