When we think upon the BLESSEDNESS OF Our LORD JESUS {2 THESSALONIANS 1:12}, it does us good to remember that Through JESUS' DEATH {MATTHEW 27} AND RESURRECTION {MATTHEW 28}, we not only have Garnered ETERNAL LIFE, CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF, but that as we obey THIS SAME JESUS, we are also CALLED BY HIM Friends {JOHN 15:14}.

When we venture back into THE OLD TESTAMENT, we see the Faithful Patriarch Abraham being CALLED JESUS' Friend {ISAIAH 41:8}. HE was willing to Obey GOD even to the point of sacrificing his "only son" whom he loved in order to carry out ALMIGHTY JESUS' COMMAND Unto him {GENESIS 22:2}. With this unrelenting stance of Obedience unto Our HEAVENLY FATHER, it's no wonder why ALMIGHTY JESUS CALLED Abraham HIS Friend {ISAIAH 41:8}.

MY "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}, I know we will see HIM as our ETERNAL FRIEND, Walking in the SAME LIGHT AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT {1 JOHN 1:7}, and not only being CALLED BY GOD, HIS Friend, But to Also Call JESUS, Our HOLY LORD AND GOD {JOHN 20:28}, Our ETERNAL FRIEND, as well.
