"Fight the good fight of the faith."
Praise JESUS!!!!! Let's go!!!!! When we think about a fight, we normally think of two opposing persons in direct opposition to one another. This is evident in our daily lives as Christians, for we know that we have an adversary who comes to steal, kill, and destroy {JOHN 10:10}.
Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” - REVELATION 22:21
Let's faith it. Life is not easy. Apart from a Relationship with JESUS it is impossible to be victorious in any endeavor in this journey of life. We know that before we came to JESUS Christ, we had no hope at all. We were blinded by the god of this world, the devil {2 CORINTHIANS 4:4}, and did not know God, or how to "do right {REVELATION 22:21}."
Although we are in Christ JESUS now {ROMANS 8:1}, because we have placed our Eternal Faith IN HIS PRECIOUSLY-TRIUMPHANT DEATH {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTION {JOHN 20}, we still must fight1111 This "fight" is one that we will continue to engage in for our entire earthly existence.
In today's HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRED HOLY BIBLE VERSE we see the beloved Apostle Paul writing About JESUS to his son in the faith, Timothy {1 TIMOTHY 1:2}, that we are to "fight the good fight of the faith." We are to take hold of eternal life, which we were called when we made a good confession in the presence of many witnesses {1 TIMOTHY 6:12}. But what is this "good fight"?
I firmly believe, by the Grace of ALMIGHTY JESUS, Our LORD AND GOD {JOHN 20:28}, that to "fight the good fight of the faith" means to not let anything or anyone keep us from being dedicated and loyal soldiers in the Army of THE LORD JESUS Christ. We are called to not be carnal Christians, with the WORD that says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (or fleshly) but are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds {2 CORINTHIANS 10:4 - HOLYBIBLE - NEW KING JAMES VERSION}.
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. - JUDE 1:3
Wherefore, when we "fight the good fight of the faith", IN JESUS' NAME, I believe we are to continue to show ourselves faithful in every arena of life, in order that as One SCRIPTURE DECLARES we might earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the Saints {JUDE 1:3}.
The grace of the Lord JESUS {EPHESIANS 2:8-9} will help us "fight the good fight of the faith". We need not get carnal, and forget that ".....our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms {EPHESIANS 6:12}."

We need only to persevere, running the race set before us with patience {HEBREWS 12:1}, and our having fought a good warfare {1 TIMOTHY 1:18}, will please Almighty GOD, and bring many souls to THE CROSS {MATTHEW 27} and EMPTY TOMB OF CHRIST JESUS {LUKE 24:3}. In JESUS' NAME {MATTHEW 18:20}. "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
