In these last days, many preachers and well-meaning CHRISTians are preaching the Gospel Of Our LORD AND GOD JESUS CHRIST {JOHN 20:28} for financial gain. I know of a person claiming to be a Bishop, bishop Jordan having people pay for prophecies. Amongst other things is the 'money cometh to me now' slogan, by person's like Leroy Thompson, Bill Winston, Gloria Copeland.
Now of course I know that these men and women of the Gospel are Forgiven through the shed BLOOD OF Our CRUCIFIED {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTED {JOHN 20} KING Of kings and LORD Of lords {REVELATION 19:16}, JESUS Christ, but it is up to us as CHRISTians to put the onus back on Preaching the Gospel Message of Our LORD JESUS Christ {1 PETER 1:3}, freely and without monetary gain, for freely we have received, freely we give.
Now I know there's nothing wrong for a Pastor to receive a salary for THE LORD JESUS' Ministry Given unto him, however the beloved Apostle Paul also states that he chose not to receive a salary even when he could have.
Let's remember "The love of money is the root to all evil {1 TIMOTHY 6:10}." Money in and of itself is not in and of itself evil, but we need to understand that when we crave money over the rightful craving we should have and that is to Crave our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST {2 PETER 3:18}, we lose our testimony and we pierce ourselves with many sorrows {1 TIMOTHY 6:10}.
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1}", let's remember that Our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {JOHN 20:28} IN Our HOLY BIBLE COMMANDS Us to "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you {MATTHEW 6:33}." As God's children, HE HAS PROMISED to meet our needs. HE SO LOVINGLY PROMISED IN PHILIPPIANS 4:19, that HE WILL SUPPLY all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, we need not worry or be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication make your requests known unto God and the peace of God which passes all comprehension shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus {PHILIPPIANS 4:6}. IN JESUS' NAME!!!!!! "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
