".....hold fast......" These two words hold great importance for me, simply because I Heard THE LORD JESUS, Our BELOVED CRUCIFIED {MATTHEW 27} AND RESURRECTED {MATTHEW 28} KING Of kings and LORD Of lords {REVELATION 19:16}, say ".....hold fast....." to me some time ago. I knew HE WAS SAYING (AND IS STILL SAYING) Hold fast to your profession or confession of faith.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21
Let's faith it. We are in a war every day. This war is not a physical one, but a Spiritual. However, we need not be alarmed, for THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON, AT JESUS' DEATH {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTION {JOHN 20}.
Now I don't claim to understand all of the Significance of the CROSS {MATTHEW 27} and RESURRECTION {MATTHEW 28}, but I do know that IS WAS LOVE, AND when JESUS DIED ON CALVARY'S HILL {LUKE 23:33} That FAITHJ-FILLED GOOD FRIDAY SOME 2021 YEARS AGO, That He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him {2 CORINTHIANS 5:21}.
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: - ACTS 1:4
In lieu of this we have a SURE FOUNDATION, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST {EPHESIANS 1:17}, whereby we'd do good to hold fast to our profession of Faith in THE LORD JESUS' PASSION {ACTS 1:4}, and RESURRECTION {MARK 16} in order that we'd Receive a full Reward.
In today's HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRED HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE TEXT, we see the Beloved Apostle Paul Writing to the Hebrews that JESUS IS Our GREAT HIGH PRIEST, THE SON OF GOD, WHICH HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HEAVENS {HEBREWS 4:14}, and DESIRES THAT we'd HOLD FAST TO Our Profession of Faith IN HIM AND IN HIS DEATH {LUKE 23} AND RESURRECTION {LUKE 24}. As HIS Body, one SCRIPTURE EVEN SAYS We Hold Fast to THEE HEAD OF THE BODY, MEANING THE AUTHORITY WHO IS CHRIST JESUS.
